Alberto Liévore

Born in 1948 in Buenos Aires (Argentina), where he studied architecture. In 1977, he moved to Barcelona, where he founded the Berenguer Group, together with the architect, Norberto Chaves, and the designer, Jorge Pensi and Oriol Pibernat. Later he set up his own studio, to be joined, in 1991, by his associates: German designer, Jeannette Altherr; and interior and industrial designer, Manel Molina. The result of this association is the Lievore Altherr Molina studio, dedicated to "product design, consulting and art direction for different companies", working with companies in Spain, Italy, Germany and the United States. He has had major exhibitions in Milan, New York, Paris and Tokyo, among other cities. His minimalist, simple designs seek a kind of timelessness.
