Christophe Pillet's work owes much of its success to the clarity of his expression, investigation and simplicity of exposition in which it is based. The elegance of the line is a luxury form that serves the project as the effectiveness. The paradox is only apparent with the contexts of luxury or fashion (or an architectonic object), which grows much of its business - Lancel, Lacoste, Catherine Malandrino, John Richmond, Sezz… This discipline is a simple continuation, the results of a controlled vocabulary of the sensuality and refinement. The great school of Italian design in the 80´s, learning and collaboration by the great masters of the past decades has led to Christophe Pillet to be one of the few leading French designers that takes the international recognition. Chosen Designer of the Year from the beginning from the top of the list in 1993, has continued the development of the territories of its business, originally dedicated to the objects and furniture. The hotel industries, the development of workshops, direction are increasingly the practice in the United States, Britain and Japan.
